The Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services ("Thani Humanitarian") has signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Central Municipal Council. The agreement aims to foster collaboration in humanitarian and social spheres, support voluntary and awareness-raising initiatives that serve Qatari society, and embed the values ​​of social solidarity and corporate/social responsibility.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Foundation by Dr. Ayed bin Dabsan Al-Qahtani, CEO of Thani Humanitarian, and on behalf of the Central Municipal Council by H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Adhba, Chairman of the Central Municipal Council. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding areas of cooperation, exchanging expertise, and implementing initiatives that generate a positive impact on society.
The agreement seeks to open new avenues for collaboration in organizing community events, social initiatives, and awareness-raising and humanitarian programs. It aims to encourage community participation and promote volunteerism. Furthermore, it leverages the role of Central Municipal Council members—who maintain direct contact with residents in their respective constituencies and understand their needs—to help direct humanitarian initiatives toward the groups and areas with the greatest need. This agreement serves as an extension of the efforts made by "Thani Humanitarian" to strengthen its partnerships with national institutions and expand the scope of its humanitarian and social initiatives. It aims to foster synergy among state institutions and promote a culture of giving and social solidarity, in alignment with the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
For his part, H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Adba, Chairman of the Central Municipal Council, emphasized that strengthening partnerships with humanitarian and social organizations is a fundamental pillar for supporting community development. He highlighted the importance of complementary roles among various national institutions, which contributes to achieving a positive and sustainable impact that benefits society.
