The Thani bin Abdullah Humanitarian Services Foundation (Thani Humanitarian) has announced the opening of registration for its "I'faf" project, running from October 18 to October 28. The initiative aims to support young Qataris preparing for marriage by helping them overcome financial challenges and providing them with the preparation needed to build stable families founded on affection, mutual understanding, and a sense of responsibility.
The project combines financial assistance with family-oriented preparation. Financial aid is provided to beneficiaries based on specific criteria and standards, following a thorough assessment of each individual case—taking into account the social and financial circumstances of those preparing for marriage, including individuals with disabilities.
Beyond financial support, "I'faf" includes awareness and educational programs designed to foster an understanding of the responsibilities of married life. These programs cover psychological and social readiness for marriage, as well as the development of communication and conflict-resolution skills—all of which help mitigate early-stage marital challenges and promote long-term family stability.
The Foundation has invited community members, benefactors, and organizations to contribute to the project and ensure the sustainability of its programs, thereby expanding its reach to more eligible young people. Such support helps alleviate the financial burdens of marriage for young individuals and their families, creating better opportunities for building stable marital lives—ultimately yielding a positive impact on both the family unit and society as a whole.
